PTI launches claims settlement website

PTI has officially launched http://sms.pti.com.vn – a website where customers can keep track the status of their car insurance claims. PTI is the first insurer to offer this online inquiry service.

PTI has officially launched http://sms.pti.com.vn – a website where customers can keep track the status of their car insurance claims. PTI is the first insurer to offer this online inquiry service.

Accordingly, customers who purchase motor vehicle insurance from PTI can access the website at http://sms.pti.com.vn to obtain any information related to their claim documents, such as the current status of their claim documents, what papers have been submitted and what additional documents are required, the garage selected, the day the repair will be completed and the claim amount to be paid.

PTI also publishes on the website the standard time frame of each step in the claims settlement process, under which, customers can easily compare and promptly report to the customer care call center if their claims have not been settled as scheduled.

In order to use the new utilities, customers, who have bought PTI’s car insurance, should generate a message using the syntax “PTI (space)XCG (space)certificate number” and send it to 8008 to get a security code to log in and search for any information related to their claim documents such as: the current status of their claim documents, what papers have been submitted and what additional documents are required, the garage selected, the day the repair will be completed and the claim amount to be paid.
